Just got this in an email, new ACRUs from $12.00 to $30.00.

I am guessing that now that everyone knows about ebay and already has an account, they can start driving up the price. :)

We did very well until recently when they changed things in there programs like overwriting affiliate cookies and taking back so called "De-duplications" Around 35% of our earnings are now clawed back. Huh!

I see why they had to change things, because of fraud and forced click but they shot themselves in the foot and screwed things up for the honest affiliates too!

This must be there way of trying to intice us back working with them I guess. I have much more profitable programs on the go right now so will noit be running back to them just yet. 8-) Mike

Hey guys, I have an ebay question while we are on the topic. I signed up yesterday and did a test link to a product and CJ reports one "sale" yet the payment is 10 cents!

Now, am I mistaken in thinking that ebay gives you the 10 or 12 dollars if the user signs up and places at least one bid (within 30 days) or he/she has to win the auction on the item for you to get your payout?

A new user needs to sign up and bid for the big bounty. 10 cents would be a user making a bid, you can't tell if it is a new or existing.

The credit for the bid is immediate, and the ACRU tends to lag. Also, there are rollbacks two days later if the cookie conflicted with another system (befree vs cj vs internal).

Its the rollbacks that kill you

You can't figure out how much you are actually making

not worth the effort in my opinion
