Doesn't _everyone_ sell ink? Aren't there like 982398429834 ink affiliate sites out there? Sure, 50% of those are cookie cutter templates bought on ebay which don't make a dime, but there are a lot of professionally done ink affiliate sites aren't there? I guess my question, does anyone see profitability in this?
Generally I wouldn't consider anything in a main stream market, but it all seems so perfect (with the merchant and the site etc), I don't want to pass it up.
So please tell me to stop wasting my time, I'd never get in the top 100 on the search engines, no one would ever by my product, PPC -> affiliate site is pointless, etc.
OR, tell me to do it. Tell me if you do it right, it's worth some cash ($20 a day?). Tell me to go for it, and if not, at least it's something else for me to advertise on my flagship site :P
I'm interested in the opinions of all, pro and noob. How do you feel about entering a market late? How do you feel about entering THIS market late? Discuss.
90% of my sites are like that, yes, but 10% of my sites bring in (roughly) 80-90% of my income.. they're not the cookie cutter ones :)
don't mean to discourage you, but unless you've got a really unique plan of going at this, you probably won't make an absolute fortune.
Infact, I have very little experience in this cookie-cutter thing. The only reason I was consdering it, is because all the ones i run into are crap. You can't find anything, there's just random information spread everywhere, it looks like someone dumped it out of a box.
I was very interested in creating something organized and user friendly.
My 'flagship' site as I like to call it, is pure content. Right now I have 50 articles, a new one atleast once a week, a complete guide, up to date news, and forums I'm trying to get going. For 6 months this site has done nearly nothing for me.
So I hope what you say is true, I've certainly put enough time into it :)
When I looked into it, I noticed that the profit margins were very small for the amount of competition. I also think those refill your ink cartridge services might cut the market 10- 20% or so.
