question about affiliate companies such as linkshare

Just a quick question.

Are there any companies that manage affiliate programs whose affiliate links do not use redirects through something like clicksynergy.

I am looking for a website whose affiliate links go to the actual website of the affiliate program, and not through a third party.

I've never seen such a beast--which doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

One suggestion, though. At least some companies that belong to affiliate networks ALSO have their own programs you can join directly.

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but there was an exhibitor at the last SES Conference that offered a performance based affiliate network that uses direct links to merchant sites. Turns affiliates into part of a link building campaign. You can find them on Google by searching for "linkconnector". I don't know much else about them, but I liked the concept.
