I have build a fantastic product which is needed by most IT companies small and big. Only a few similar products in the market and we believe we are the best in many aspects like quality, pricing and other features. And we have a quality site that converts well and built form the customer point of view. Now I need affiliates and CJ seems to be the right place but awfuly high fee to join as a mechant, I hope it was only $500 earlier (If I am not wrong). Any one give me any idea on how to get affiliates for this niche product and I am focused on quality affiliates to super affiliates.

I am ready to offer high persentage commision.

Share a sale more or less the same I guess. I would be really interested to hear if CJ is worth the money? or they are only focused on big merchants? And I would like to know how you guys get quality affiliates for your products?

Tell you the truth I see many many firms with CJ accounts close them ater about 2 years - so theres your answer.

I reckon they arent worth the dough.

The problem they charge way over but theres always some sucker out there who'll bite no matter what they charge.

We have a merchant program with Share A Sale, the start up costs are significantly less than for CJ (20x less) and we have been very happy with our program performance.

Is CJ worth the money? If you convert well, yes. Consider the fact that, once you sign up as a merchant with CJ you have access to a HUGE database of potential affiliates.

A lot of the relationships I have with merchants began on CJ. Once we got comfortable with each other and both the merchant and I knew what to expect, the aff. relationship generally moves in-house where they can offer better commissions.

That's where I feel CJ works best..as a farming area. Recruit your aff's there and move the big ones in-house.

I assume that CJ is worth the money, even then as a start up if I cann't afford such a huge money what are the other ways to attract quality affiliates? I am not so good at internet marketing but have an excellent product and I want to create win win situtation for both me and the affiliate. So I am planning for perfect affiliate marketing force. Any suggestion to aquire quality affileates?
