I’m seeking advice on PPC affiliate recruitment for a company called ShareBuilder.
The PPC program has been up and running for a little over 3 months now.
The problem I am having is attracting good affiliates and am frequently inundated by fraudulent affiliates. The PPC offers I have in place start at $0.15 and can be increased based on performance! I thought this would be compelling, but apparently not.
If you have any ideas or would be interested yourselves please mail for more info.

I'm familiar with your company ... your current PPC at Overture for "stock brokers" is $2.55
perhaps you bid higher amounts for some keywords ... but if your limit is 2.55 and you want to pay affiliates .15 for the same visitor ... then you pay 17 times more at Overture per visitor than to affiliates.
Successful affiliate managers view affiliates as another revenue generating vehicle ... but it takes gas to drive that vehicle bro.
:)
However, in that sector, I don't see much of an advantage to being an affiliate at that price per click - Adsense is likely to be much more beneficial to the publisher.
Adsense does make good sense! :) And that’s why we engage in the activities already. The big driving vehicle behind the affiliate PPC program is the fact that we can get targeted affiliate sites to generate leads for us, which should theoretically equal higher conversions…than Adsense.
The real problem has been just getting the affiliate sites onboard and determining at what point those conversions will occur, as each will be different. It is only at that point that we can up the PPC rate.
But basically I get the 'feel' that the current PPC rate is too low. What do you suggest will make it more appealing whilst at the same time 'tolerable' from our side?
I just want to get some good affiliate signed up, after that I’m prepared to work closely with them and pay great PPCs!
Thanks
