Genealogy affiliate programs

Which ones have been successful?

I have quite a few genealogy-related pages, and recently put AdSense on many of them. It works well on some pages but has a hard time placing relevant ads on others. (One page that mentions various 'settlements' people lived in keeps generating ads for divorce lawyers!)

Have any folks here had success with any of the specific genealogy-related affiliate programs? I believe Ancestry.com is one; are there others that have worked well?

Thanks for the recommendation - I have just started looking at it.

I signed up for the ancestry.com program and am about to test it. The sign-up procedure did not inspire confidence. The usability on their site is very low, and one of the help links even goes to a parked spam domain. And one of the link options you can put on your own site is "Fake Search Box" - yes, you too can trick people into visiting our site! That's not a reputation I want to have associated with my pages, but then maybe that's why they have the money and I don't.

Any experiences from anyone else?

Genealogy Detective pays 40% and has pretty high conversions. Affiliate info - it's the 4th program on their aff portal site. [affiliatesuccess.net...]
