I got an email from CJ - saying that Ebay is changing its affiliate payout structure on the first of July.

Does anyone have an inside scoop as to how it is changing? They claim for the better of course =)

Also on the Ebay program topic: Ebay has a tiered payout structure. So if I make it into the second tier, do I immediately get paid $8 per active registrant past 250? or is it how I suspect that I get $5 this month and $3 next month?

Thanks for in advance for your help.

The new structure starts at $10 per active registration on up to $20 per active registration. And they doubled the bids/bins from 5 cents to start at 10 cents.

As far reaching higher tiers, I believe once you get to the next teir that commission amount instantly applies to all of your sales for that month. So if the new teir is say 501-1000 sales for X amount of commision. And you made 502 sales that month, the x amount of commision would apply to ALL 502 sales. Not just 2.

I guess they are raising the commissions to offset the fact that at least 50% plus of sales get "reversed" and they lost a bunch of affiliates over that. I still hope they fix that. I wonder how many people online in the U.S. are not already registered with ebay.

Hmm... I wouldn't have high hope for the change... eBay has way too much 'rejected transactions'.

I got some bids registered in my CJ account yesterday(monday) and they were for 0.05..so my guess would be its still the old rates.
