PPC income for web publishers.

Can anyone please suggest some alternatives to adsense?

I haven't dabbled much into selling clicks but when adsense came out I started trying. It's certainly not making me rich but it's nice because the ads for the most part are quite well targeted and I don't have to *think* about it. Recently one of my sites has was doing better with adsense and I've begun wondering about what possible alternatives are to adsense.

Could anyone please let me know what some of adsense's competitors are from the perspective of a publisher? I would like to try out some others to see what kind of performance I can get.
Thanks,
Chris

Think of it this way, if you are constantly getting the same advertisers through AdSense, that means they must have a decent ROI. You're only getting approx 50% of a click that they are willing to pay for! This tells me that your clicks must be converting (or they would stop advertising). If that is the case, why not sign up directly to affiliate programs, send traffic, and get commissions of actions?

AdSense is the easy way. You don't have to think about it.

The 'thinking' way is finding merchants and figuring out what gets clicks where, and what converts where. That's also where the money is. Cheers.

Heya Fida,

Yes agreed that a more involved approach would be better, but in this case I don't want to directly affiliate. I'd prefer to do it PPC and wonder if anyone has heard of adsense competitors.

Cheers,
Chris

There are none that pay even 1/10 of adsense ubless you have mega traffic, than you can use Overture which pays as well.

If you're going to give one a try, Quigo **** or **** are your best bet. Stay away from Clixsor, stay far far away.
