I'm sure it's a 'gender' thing, but I can't stop chuckling over this one. I've put a few choice parts in bold, but it is straight out of their program write-up. Where do I sign up?!!
We are offering a book that has been recreated for the web and are selling this web enabled site featuring (title deleted); 60 wonderful ways to fold a cloth napkin. -There is a Message Center for members to interact with their napkin folding community. -Additional content is also offered which is free for both the member and non-member. This "e-book" and the content will expand over time. Examples of the content are: solutions on how to remove stains, how to match food to wine, and a party planner etc. -We have extended the cookie duration to 90 days. -New content will continually be added. We want this to become a community and an essential kitchen tool. -70,000 copies were sold in book form. -Markets: kitchen/gourmet, bridal registries, early teens, seniors, women, restauranteurs, B and B's, caters.
I'd put the link to the forum, but I'm afraid Oilman would wander off to discuss napkin origami.

Who's worried about oilman?

How'd they get your name on their mailing list?

You weren't here for the 'doilie' thread of 2000, were you BH? The on-site search doesn't go back that far, it was before we switched to this board software.

Well I guess doilies and napkin folding all fit into that Southerin Charm thang up yonder in Carolina.

You ok, rc?

Just had a servant flogged for a sloppy crease in my lunch napkin, BH ...simply ruined my day, I couldn't even finish the dessert course.

No, Oil, I promised your wife I wouldn't. You remember what happened last time...

Surely, you're not suggesting that a female would get all excited about this, are you? ;) I don't even own any cloth napkins. Am I a hopeless cretin or what?

(should have been FOO)

Back to topic -Could anyone make money on such a program? I doubt it. Much has been covered about affiliates needing to judge the business plan of a merchant. This one looks, well, weak.
