Am I doing all I can?

I have been reading here for several months and finally joined up. It seems that in general people seem to be making decent money from their sites, whether they are full or part time. I run a rather large travel site (for a certain geographic region) as a full time occupation.
This past month we had over 400,000 unique sessions and over 2 million pages viewed. I think the gross net for January will be somewhere around 21k to 23k.

I think I do everything I can (in varying degrees), but am not one to want to bombard the user with too much info on any one page. We have our own store where we sell stuff (and point people to affiliates for other stuff), we have travel sales through a major partner, we sell our own ads and sponsorsorships, and we also serve text based ads through a certain well know company. Recently I have tried a couple of small affiliate programs that I could see adding up to another several hundred or maybe $1,000 a month kind of thing combined once the get rolling.

Does this sound in line? With that many people and from what I have read here from some of you it seems like maybe I should be making a lot more -

One thing we don't do at this point is email marketing - not at all, but I am fairly convinced I need to. We also rely almost exclusively on organic search results. Last month was the biggest CPC month ever for us, when we spent about $800. Usually we only spend about $300 a month.

I would appreciate your feedback and insights.

Thanks -

Eric B.

Sounds like you've got a really good business plan to me.

I'd stay away from this one. Too many problems for the amount of money you will earn.

<1k/month PPC? Your ROI looks pretty good from here ;)

Do you have ever-changing content? If so, a newsletter might be a good idea. I'm always dissapointed when a site I like doesn't have a newsletter, sometimes I just want to be informed :)
