I have been getting this service.bfast.com address loading on my web browser when I'm trying to go to a link to other web sites. It's been happening for about a month and it's getting so that it does this more than 50% of the time when I try to go to a new web site. When this address does load, it only get a white screen saying the server can not be connected to ( the standard error message Windows displays when you can't connect to a server What the hell is this thing and how do I get rid of it before I snap!

Maybe you have some parasites on your machine. I'd suggest running a good Anti-virus software and a tool like AdAware to get rid of this stuff.

bfast is part of the url in a barnes and noble affiliate link. Maybe you're viewing a lot of pages with affiliate links?

bfast.com is the affiliate link server for BeFree. It should not be loading in your browser. I agree it sounds like you have a parasite that this forcing this link to pop in your browser.
