Ever advertise on an IM?

I've never looked into advertising on an IM, and haven't touched p2p shareware.

Has anyone done studies, or seen them, or IM ad ROI and costs?

Or even advertise on non browser aps?

I once read an article about it (can't find it anymore unfortunately) which said, that such kind of advertising is mostly used for branding purposes.

I personally never (or maybe once per month) click on an ICQ ad.

I never ever remember clicking on an IM ad. Probably others do. Research well before you spend money!
