Now this is a piece of good news. I'm sick and tired of advertisers that allow their affiliates to spam. In my book the act of tolerating affiliates using spam to promote one's product is just as bad as actually doing the spamming.

[edit]
Before I get the wrath of others, I'd like to emphasize my use of the word "allow". Obviously it would be impossible insure that no sleaze ball affiliate ever used spam. With that said, affiliate programs should use all do diligence and technical tricks to monitor affiliates and to block payment to fraudulently earned revenues and terminate offenders if appropriate.

Maybe cleaning scum out of the programs would leave more advertising revenues for those of us who choose to play by the rules.
