CJ Deactivating Accounts Without Notice

Would CJ deactivate an account with an advertiser without notification?

I've been with them a while, lots of clickthroughs, appropriate ads, though yet to sell anything. (We do very well as an Amzn affiliate)

Just gearing up for Christamas.

Our site is a clean and inoffensive.

I've just tried logging into my CJ account using the correct data and cookies enabled, but received the message, 'Our
records show this account has been deactivated'.

Something must be wrong, I've not deactivated it, and I'm busy preparing it for Christmas.
Has somebody hacked it? What's going on?

I sent them a polite Email to support@cj.com and it bounced!

So, have received nothing from CJ, I can't login and can't Email them.

Smashing!

Any clues?

Not a clue, but I had an account that was basically unused that also was deleted. Remember, all accounts will be transferred over to the other company according to the notice they issued, and they all need Tax ID numbers, which mine hadn't included. So I'm assuming lack of any activity plus that would have been the reasons why.

I simply opened a new account, for which a Tax ID# was mandatory, and will have to make some changes on a site or two I'll be doing beginning in January, after my Holiday rush season is over.

I'm putting up just a few test links at this point, only for pages that have some rankings prior to actual launch time, but yes they can do it, it's a lot easier to just delete before site transfers than to correspond with everyone who hasn't met certain criteria.

If your CJ account has not had any sales within the past 6 months, they will close the account..
This policy has been in effect for awhile now.

Deactivated without notification?

I've not had any warnings in the CJ inbox, nor anything whatsoever sent to my registered Email address.

I can't believe CJ would be so rude?

It loooks more like a technical glitch to me.

I'll try again tomorrow, and If I still can't login, I'm pulling all my CJ ads.

Why did my email to support@cj.com bounce?

Very strange.

Yes, they cleaned house and deactivated people without a warning. I had some affiliates that had just built a new site for me get the boot. You can set up a new CJ account if you use a new email address.

Resubscribe to CJ when they have deactivated numerous accounts without even a courtesy note.

No thank you. I'll find ethical companies to deal with.

To think ... I gave them my bank details!

All their ads are now removed from our sites.

It's unethical. I know that we need companies like CJ, but CJ knows that tehy need both publishers as well as advertisers.

They shoudl inform people atleast or send a warning.
