Instant disapproval?

Has anybody here tried to get into the new Napster program on CJ?

I tried to sign up and got an immediate disapproval on my application. Yes, I've tried to email them but have had no answer. It's a shame because my site would lend itself perfectly to promoting their product.

Anybody else having problems with this?

I was accepted into the Napster program back around the first of October. I spent some $$$ running a few Napster ads, and I sent them a few hundred click-thrus....and nothing...no reply! They haven't had a batch transfer since October 6th! I emailed them 4 days ago asking them about this, and I have yet to receive a reply.

I'm not sure, but I also think they changed their program terms AFTER I signed up.

I'll keep you updated.

In other news, after reading some of the posts here about CJ, today I tried submitting leads to 10 different CJ advertisers. So far only 2 of the 10 have credited me for the leads. (I submitted the last lead 6 hours ago, none of the companies use batch transactions). I'm curious to see if more appear. I carefully followed the lead criteria for each. If only 20% are paying as they claim to be, I wonder how much each of us is losing? Isn't this breach of contract?

I was instantly approved when I applied yesterday.

I read on another message board that they are not paying any commissions prior to their launch date. The only advantage to putting up links on your site prior to their launch date is that you are setting cookies for anyone who subscribes during the return period.

Are you outside the USA? I'm in the UK and I just got the same instant rejection.

The Napster terms and conditions say that the service is only available to US residents. My guess is that they are blocking foreign publishers.

Good call! I'm in the UK too. Guess that must have been it. :(
