I am new to affialiate marketing and would like to add advertising (to gererate additional revenue) to a particular site I believe would be good for the wireless phone market. This site has significant page views and caters to an 18 - 25 yr old market.

Where should I start to learn about this, or how would you advise I proceed?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Taita,

Most of the major affiliate directories are organized into categories (similar to Yahoo), making it very easy to find the programs related to a single category (like wireless phones). At the very least, you can get a good idea of what is available. Try searching for "affiliate directory" or something similar and you should find a long list of these type of sites.

Taita,

Google has them listed in order of popularity. Refer-it and AssociatePrograms are both pretty up to date and easy to seach by category.

Since Google has not pulled a new directory from DMOZ for awhile you may want to check here too. There are some new ones listed that are not in Google yet: [dmoz.org...]
