We already use Shareasale, and I was thinking about going back to Fineclicks.com since its now owned by Fineclicks. Has anyone had any success with them?

"back to Fineclicks.com since its now owned by Fineclicks" it wasn't owned by them before? And if your 'going back' how was it the first time around? What made you leave them in the first place?

I thought ShareASale bought Fineclicks. Now it went back to the orginal owner? Anybody know why?

I think FC is still owned by SAS. Have not seen or heard anything different. SAS and FC affilaite demographics are different. SAS IMHO is a much stonger network. What were you hoping to gain by switching?

We really haven't done that well with SAS. We offer a % of the sale plus lead commission. Was thinking on trying on another site to branch out to. We were also considering Clixxchange, but I had been seeing a lot of fraud problems with them to. I would do the CJ/Befree thing, but do not want to pay the signup fee. 2500 for each, plus 500 per month min. That’s a big investment, and we do not know if it would pan out. I guess direct leads would also be an option, but they charge a 1000 setup fee, plus a monthly fee also. So, we do not know what to choose. It looks like we will have to pay some exurbanite fee with any of the majors.

How are you finding Shareasale so far? Have you been with them long?

Been with them for about 1 1/2 years. For the first six months or so, we were receiving sales and lead referrals hourly. Now, it has slowed to a trickle of maybe a few a month (and we have over 5000 affilaites with Shareasale). This is why we are looking for a new provider.

I've only been with them for a few days, but I'm getting the impression that I'm going to have to do my own affiliate recruiting.

I've only got about 20 or so affiliates, and most of them seem to be not very good (freebie sites, or obviously low traffic sites.)

I'm tempted to spring for some of the options to give me a higher profile on their site (shareasale), but I'm starting to think it may be a waste of time and money.

Yea, we were tempted to do the same thing, but I do not believe that it is worth it. I will probably to the affiliate announce service from Neil Durant again, but nothing through shareasale. They are not worth the $$$. I believe that you get the most sign ups for the first 30 days (because your on the new merchants page), and then its an uphill battle.
