Looking for some help on choosing an advertising strategy from a publishers perspective - who should I use? My company operates a weather/travel portal called [bleep] and we have a desktop weather software program called [bleep]. Our site receives about 500000 page views a month and is growing about 25% per month. Our software has 5000 users right now and is also growing. Who is a good adnetwork to go through that would maximize our returns - hopefully get some targeted CMP's? I have contacted people such as 24/7 RealMedia and Bannerspace, help? Also does anyone know a typical CPM rate for banners that advertisers are willing to pay - for company ad kit?

Check out tribalfusion and fastclick.

>CPM

Based on what I'm seeing from the publisher end, and depending on the network, you could probably get untargeted 468x60 banners as low as $1 gross.
