So, you build your first site(s) selling a give product for an advertiser. Now, what are the main traffic sources, besides the SE's? Where should one submit?

look for vortals. also consider sponsoring popular newsletters (and/or other sites) around your topic.

also - affiliates.

Look through your logs and see if that helps give you any ideas.

I mean that they are topic specific sites.

"portals that are vertical"

an example would be a site that talked about widgets but is not widget brand specific - just articles, search, etc on everything to do with widgets.
