A newbie needs a definition of the word "advertisers"

I'm new at this. What are "advertisers? What is "Fastclick?" How much does it cost? You may direct me to another thread if you like!

With regards to your question and pay per click (PPC), a Web site (the "publisher") advertises products or services offered by another Web site (the "advertiser") in exchange for a commission on actions, such as leads or sales.
