newbie - good affiliate network for niche product

Hi,

I am a 100% newbie to affiliate programs, but after going through threads on this forum posted by Drastic and other members I have learned so much.

From what I have been reading, there is no 'best affiliate' programs/networks. It all depends on what you are selling. My new client is a relatively small merchant so I believe CJ or LinkShare won't be the best choice. Can fellow members give me pointers and let me know what is the 'best network' to affiliate with if I am selling home/business security products (alarm systems)?

Also, do anyone have any feedback regarding ShareASale and CommissionShore?

Picking the right affiliate program solution doesn't really depend on the type of product you sell. You really need to look for the features you need.

There have been quite a few discussion on this recently, take a dig through the past couple of weeks' threads and/or site search.

There are some previous comments about shareasale also found through site search.

Another good thread or two are in this forum's library.
