I admit am a complete newbie with affiliate marketing, so this may be a very silly question but -

I use an affiliate program for one suppluer that insists. I get a few sales each week, but compared to the amount of traffic I send it is a very small %age.

While on my site I know the referrer, the pages that are viewed and the times on each page, as well as any internal searches that are done on my site.

My problem, how can I match this info with the sales report, so I know which profiles are buying? Even knowing the google search phrase would help a lot.

Is thier anyway to get this info?

This seems a big problem because if i sell direct, I pass the orders to the merchant so I have all the info, but if I use a program and just pass leads, I have no way of tracking them.

Sounds like some customization on your server needs to happen. How about hosting the order form on your site and then passing all the data over to the supplier via XML so you could have a copy of that data. All it would take ( I think) is a competent programmer and you would be set.
