Interesting clip about tech marketers needing to show results. Anyone in the more "creative" - rich media, banners, stuff like that feeling a pinch?
It's amazing how much people expect from online advertising/marketing compared to more traditional media. We're definitely seeing a push for results and generally tighter budgets, but at the same time a few recent "creative" aka branding campaigns have won some awards and its amazing how the clients' attention can all of a sudden turn to wanting awards as opposed to focusing just on bottom line results.
