I have recently heard of the technique of using a redirect to protect your affiliate commissions from being sucked away by scumware. This seems like a sensible precaution, but does it work? Or is the scumware smarter than this? Or does it work only some of the time, but still enough to be worth doing?
Has anyone tried replacing all your affiliate links with redirects, and if so, what were the results? Did you see higher conversion rates?
