Our company is a leading online dvd media(dvd-r/+r,dvd-rw/+rw) and flash media dealer. we joined CJ as advertiser at the begining of this month.Until now, the result is not as good as we predicted. We have many publishers(about 400), however, few of them put our links on their websites. Our commission rate is 8% and cookie duration is 30 days, almost highest in computer hardware category. Prices of our products is very reasonable. Could anyone please give me some suggestions? I also want to know how to be a successful CJ advertiser? Thanks in advance.

CJ has so many advertisers now, you get lost in the crowd.
Plus, any type of computer hardware/memory is a very competitive market, as users are indunated with offers..

My suggestion would be to do a special commission of some kind, to get CJ publisher's attention. Even if you give away your entire profit for 30 days, you get publishers putting your links out there, and most will leave them there..

Also, to attract the "heavy hitters", because the 80/20 rule definitely applies to affiliate programs, put some performance incentives out there that mean something... Not ludicrous sales volumes, but nice break points in sales, where a publisher get's a nice incremental performance incentive....

Don't use CJ's mail system to put the word out, it's so "clogged" with crap, no publishers read their inbox.. If you can export a list of the publishers that have "joined" your program, run a "private" email broadcast...

My 2 cents...

Hi, I noticed you don't have either product links or allow redirecting. A lot of the more successful affiliates create product spectific pages that link directly to the product in question. Also check your sticky mail.
