Hi Everyone,
I am fairly new to the world of affiliates but, not the internet, webdesign and network technology...I see a lot of great posts from folks out here but, I would love to see some proof what they are doing (ie; your webpages).
If anyone has any newbie tips for developing traffic I would love to hear about it. Also, how many of you manage more than one site and what do you find to be the greatest areas for profit? I don't expect to get rich overnight but, I would like to realistically ween myself off a 40 hour work week...ah, the American Dream! :-)

Thanks...

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Komputerjeanyus.

Sorry, but URL drops are not allowed here. Some members do have sites in their profiles.

>what do you find to be the greatest areas for profit?
I doubt you'll find many people rushing to answer that question. Most people want to keep their lucrative stuff to themselves. That said, the highly competitive areas are where the highest profits are. (casino, debt, pharmacy, etc.)

>how many of you manage more than one site
I would say that most successful affiliates, ones that do it for a living, have several sites. If you depend on one site for income, all of your eggs are in the proverbial one basket.

For help on general info and how to get started, dig around the older posts in this forum, and definitely check out the advertising forum library [webmasterworld.com].
