How Many People Advertise on Targeted Content Sites?

I was wondering how many people advertise their affiliate/content sites on other content sites as there main strategy instead of using PPC ads?

It all comes down to the cost of and value of traffic, doesn't it? So you do whatever generates an ROI.

Webwork, you are exactly right. And I plan to try advertising on content sites whether or not people reply saying they have done it.

I'm just curious how many people actually do it.

Anyone who is serious about their online marketing should have tested this method. I have had some success and failures using this method.
