not sure what you mean but
for publishers depending on how many bars you have depends on how high you are in publisher earnings
so for example 4 bars may mean you are in top 20% of publishers for earnings on CJ Network

I believe the same applies for affiliate companies so ebay would be paying out highest amount to publishers so would get 5 bars

It does not mean highest per click just highest overall in payouts

There are also the green bars for publishers, and those increase with the amount of commissions earned.

What I wonder, though, is that since you can have 3 bars as soon as earnings go over $100 a month, if that means those are in the top half of all affiliates, meaning that more than half of the publishers earn under $100 a month.

I could believe that. There are a lot of folks that sign up and either are never active, or just use affiliate programs as as completely untargeted banners on their site instead of allowing PSA's.

I am just trying to calculate how much some advertisers pay per month to get the 3/4/5 bars.

Purely for marketing research.

4 bars = 80 - 94th
3 bars = 60 - 79th
2 bars = 40 - 59th
1 bar = 39th and below
0 bars = no commission earned
