AdServer Solutions experiances

Hey folks. I run a website and recently purchased AdServingSolutions software to serve ads on my website. I was a bit surprised that I couldnt just charge a credit card but had to send a money order through western union. No biggie I guess. Come to find out I will definitely need to order installation which is actually more than the software package. I have no real problem paying for installation, but I had a real bad customer support experience and when I asked if there were happy clients I could talk to before sending another $500 money order out they flatly responded that I needed to send them the money order for installation and offered no satisfied clients. Im already into this company so need to figure out if I need to give them more money despite lacking confidence in the company, figure out installation myself (I think Im 80% of the way there), or give up and find another piece of software/code it up myself.

My question is does anyone use this software to serve ads, should I trust them with my cash? does anyone know a way to trigger a database call from javascript via cold fusion?

thanks...

One word of advice - Don't

I am a very dissatisfied customer of Adserver Solutions and warn everyone to stay clear of them

They do not respond to emails and if they do the reply is very short, impersonal and unhelpful.

Offered free installation and that was not forthcoming

Finally got it installed with some help form my host and then it wouldn't serve ads.

It does not have several of the features that they advertise like automated client sign up which was one of the main reasons I bought it.

I have given up on it and waved my $500 bucks goodbye.

A very expensive lesson

If you do a search on the company you will find the site and software are for sale.

Stay clear
