I just read this article about a company trying to create an alternative for software developers to try and stop Spyware. Sounds pretty good, it's about time an alternative has showed up.
You just read an ad which won't have any affect on spyware/adware. The spyware/adware people don't want alternatives.

Well some semi-respectable software publishers do bundle 3rd-party spyware with their downloads in order to pay the bills. This alternative would be better than doing that, anyways.

Trust,
Developers who bundle spyware do it because of one thing, and one thing alone, money. If the price is right, they will switch.

Yes, I know about sypware skater :)
If they were ever losing ground they could just pay more, they have no shortage of money. Of course more and more of that is set aside for their legal departments nowadays.
