Hi Everyone,

I want to make some extra cash this year. My goal is $5000 via affiliate programs (per year). I'm new to this. Just signed up with CJ to see what it's like. Have some niche ideas that are of personal interest too.

Is it worth $200 bucks to take a 'how to' course from some online marketing guru or is the info easily found online. I am very interested in learning alot in a short period of time and would like to reduce the amount trial and errors as much as possible. This is a key point for me.

Please share your thoughts. If I was a friend or family member, what would you suggest?

Thx very much,

Hi again,

CJU seems good and it's free.

But let me know if there's any other good resources out there. Thx.

There is also a company called affiliate classroom that offers step by step affiliate training. They have a $1 trial where you can get full access for 2 weeks and just grab all the info and resources you can learn. If you want to stick with the on-going training I think it's only around 29 or so a month.

I really do think it's worth it however to find a "system" from a well known guru and stick to it. Otherwise it's easy to "blow in the wind" when you are new and try every new thing you read about and get lost.

There are lots of self proclaimed gurus out there, tons of funky ebooks that pretend to have all the answers and many training programs. If you decide to pay for a course - the ones I believe in are AC above, James Martell's book and training course and SiteSell.

I don't think there is one perfect magic pill to learn this business but I believe each of these has unique advantages. The key is to evaluate them all and pick the one that fits your learning style and earning goals best!

Hope this helps and best of luck!
Linda
