I was getting a CPM of a bit more than a buck. I don't know anymore whether Casale Media managed to fill a good amount of my ad inventory but I still know that Tribal Fusion wasn't even able to display ads for more than 50% of my pageviews.
This latest BS is particularly nasty, and the company simply doesn't decerve my business - this is after I had roundly praised them back in Decemeber.
Here's my experience from the past two days: Saturday was 1.20. On Sunday morning this was reduced to $1.00. Sunday was over $1.45. This morning that figure was reduced to $1.30. Of course, this isn't much, but, like I said they don't fill inventory very well. On Saturday afternoon, I installed Casale Media as a default and made more with those ads than with FastClick.
Does that make any sense? The default earns more than the chosen service? Not to me. And, of course, then they just steal money from you in their "audit." I don't get the audit bit, especially Sunday's, because I wasn't even on line, so I didn't look at any of my pages, and even when I do, it's maybe 10-15 pages a day. Shouldn't amount to as much as they're saying.
Basically, I'm calling FastClick a bunch of crooks and am removing them from my site. All I ever wanted from them was $3-4 per day, and even though I got close for a while, they made sure I earned less no matter what I did.
I urge anybody using them to post here with their results. I am switching to Casale Media because they have better tools, more transparent reporting AND more and better-looking ads.
I run those two with AdSense, and have seen no diminishing in the click through rate for AS. Multiple revenue streams is what I'm after and so far it's almost working.
So far, of the three companies that I've worked for, none of them have done much in the way of CPM network advertising.
