Hi people, I have lurked about webmasterworld for a couple of years! now and finally decided to join. I even went to the pub conferences in london with my partner.
Anyway, I am no SEO but my partner talks about little else so i have a pretty good knowledge of most things webby. I have decided to set up a site running a number of commision based affiliate programs and would like to know if there are any pitfalls, traps or any other nasties that i should look out for, beside other affiliates promo techniques.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello and welcome to WebmasterWorld,
probably you are alredy familiar with the site search (on top of the pages). Use this feature to find anything on 'conversion rate', 'affiliates' etc. or browse through the "Advertising Sales and Affiliate Programs" and the "Ecommerce" forums. You will probably find most of your questions answered there.
And don't forget: only promote what you really like.
