Hi

I joined as an affiliate with Corey Rudl's site. There are three things troubling me:

1. The click and paste text is written as though he was still alive. Why not updated?

2. I sent an email questioning this and it was returned "undeliverable"

3. I tried live chat but it says not online today "June 3rd" or some similar date.

Should I be suspicious?

Considering that he died in June, it could very well that Cory did not follow best practices on plans to make for your websites when you die.

Corey Rudl Dies at 34 [webmasterworld.com]

Yes, I am fully aware that he died. And Derek Gehl has taken over. Derek is still marketing the site and the affiliate programs within it. Odd that the details have not been updated.

I just didn't want to go ahead and start promoting with no prospect of return.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.

Odd that the details have not been updated.

I would guess he is riding it into the ground. As in, as long as it makes money without any work... Just looking at the SERPs, I'd say nobody cares about the site anymore. He died June 3rd (the point of my link). If the online help has not been turned on since he died, no one is really taking care of the site.

Thanks

What is a SERP? "Search Engine Ranking Profile" or something?

Search engine results pages. What you get when you do a search.
