I've recently started with Clickbank

does anyone know what date cheques are normally sent?

I recently started promoting products from Clickbank through PPC and seem to be doing rather well at it. Although I am spending quite a lot on Adwords, I am making a profit.

My question is, does anyone know when the next lot of cheques will be sent out. I know they say 15 days after the pay period ended, but that came and went on 1st January and there is no indication on the Clickbank site to show that cheques have been sent out

Yeah, Clickbank doesn't send out any notification or let you know when they send checks in any way. The good news? In over a year they haven't been late. Not once. (At least in my experience)

They typically cut checks on the 1st and 16th, figure a few days for the mail system, plus this month the 1st and 2nd were no mail days, so the checks would have gone out the 3rd.

The checks will be for Dec 1st - 15th.

thanks for your reply. I was starting to get nervous. My credit card that I use to pay for Adwords is taking a major battering but if the cheques turn up then it's not a problem and based on your experience, it sounds like they will. Thanks for that.

Hi ferraristi, I'm not having success with clickbank. I just had 2 sales over three month with my site I created for clickbank. I haven't used adword yet though. Would you mind sharing how much you earn from click bank for every $100 you spend using adword?

Hi,
I only started promoting the Clickbank products at the end of November. Some days I actually make a loss but for the whole of December I made about a 35% profit. So for every $100 spent on Adwords I returned about $135 dollars.

I know that doesn't sound great but I haven't yet created my own landing pages etc. I am sending my Adwords traffic direct to the merchant's sales page.

I have read plenty to suggest that the way to go is to create pre-sell pages and that if done properly they can significantly increase conversions. However at this time I don't really know how to go about doing this, but probably will at some point.
