Should we have gotten paid today, ie. precisely net:30 or do they pay at the end of the month which, for me, is tomorrow? Those who received payment before, was it on time as promised?

I'm dying to see what happens with my first audit...and if they pay the extra 10% they promised.

Have you checked other forums about publishers being dropped and charged by Chitika with fraudulent activity. Though I own an active and growing website, I'm not really involved with all this webmaster stuff so I'm confused about what is going on. How can so many people be committing "fraud?"

I hope that I get my payment for November. I used Chitika during a week of October and all of November until the commissions started going down. Then once I got my first check, which was 10% of what the reports showed that I earned, I dropped them immediately. I just received a letter that I have been banned for fraud and that I will no longer be paid and the fraudulant clicks will be refunded to the advertiser. The funny thing is that I haven't used them at all in December. My guess is that they are about to go out of business so are now accusing people of fraudulant clicks in order to prevent having to pay those who dropped Chitika from their sites. After that they will not pay those who are still using the program. This is just a guess but seeing how much people turned on them after the first round of checks, I think that I'm probably pretty close to the truth.

It will be funny to see if your theory holds true. Their site would not load for a few hours earlier in the week, but that could just be coincidence. Regardless, I am only giving them about 50 impressions per month in preference for my own Aff and YPN.

As far as I am concerned let them go out of business. They had a great looking product but I did not care for the way they ran their program, not enough transparency and too much bad press. I won't do business with cheats or people that seem sneaky.

I heard a lot of folks have been banned the last 2 days. I thought Chitika were just filtering out dodgy clicks?

Check out Chitka's blog. The November audits/payments are delayed till January 15. But they also promise the December audits will be ready by then.

I too have been browsing other forums reading about people getting booted from Chitika. Am I the only person to notice that virtually all of them seem to use terrible grammar?

It's easier for me to believe that Chitika is growing rapidly since companies like eBay and Amazon continue to associate with it than to believe "Chitika Is Fraud!" because "Banned without reason. I think bcos of big amount" as two forum posts somewhere state.

In my case I have too much to lose by practicing in fraudulant links. I don't care that Chitika banned me since I don't use them anymore, but I find it interesting that they would ban me when I haven't even used them for over a month. If they want to remove my account for inactivity then thats fine, just tell me.

For me Chitika is a FRAUD and is playing FOUL, First they deducted 57% of my earnings in Audit and next month I received a mail that my traffic is Fradulent however I am being paid by Adsense for the same traffic, This is really ridiculous, My traffic is 100% legit and I had offered them to have my server logs and prove my site clicks as FRAUD,Moreover I had referred 14 publishers to them, If they really have a legit reason to boot me out why are they not responding to my questions, the help ticket is waiting for a answer since last 8 days? I am a international publisher, and I am unable to take legal action against them. I pray GOD Chitika pay for their actions.

I am surprised not to see more chatter about this. As I understand it, Chitika is withholding all payments until Jan 15th.

Could it be that everyone droped them after last months payment issues?

I do not use them, but I have been considering them and was hoping to get some feedback.

Nice, but I'm sure thousands of publishers would rather they gave priority to processing payments, than a cosmetic stat upgrade.

Wow, it only took them 90 + days to make a statistics reporting app that would take your average php user 30 minutes. Impressive!

I think the reason there isn't a lot of chatter in this thread is because people have pulled so much of their Chitika inventory off of their sites, they don't have enough riding on them anymore to be concerned.

Out of disrespect, I am only showing Chitika ads to poorly targeted traffic. It's not like the CTR can get any lower or anything... they can kiss my ass for the crap they've pulled since I signed up with them.

I don't care if it is BETA - common professional courtesy still applies.

I for one am very glad for this new feature. Besides, it gives me more hope that they're still working and viable because there have been a lot of naysayers.

Chitika should have gotten the auditing thingy worked out before accepting associates. And they should communicate much better each of us. I'll be livid if I take a 30-70% cut in revenue as many publishers have. The wild cuts left a bad taste in the mouths of many resulting in lots of bad PR, etc.

I haven't been audited yet so I'm reserving judgement especially after the Dec. audits. If there are no drastic cuts I will stay with them. I do hope they succeed because their ads work well on my site. Besides, I like the ads. They are interesting and innovative.
