If you are like many of us you signed up for Chitika's eMiniMalls in October. The audited October revenues are finally in. Without getting too specific I would like to see how big of a haircut people are taking on their audited results. We had a reduction of a little over 10 percent.
The audit numbers vary quite a bit, even for people who say they are doing geotargeting. It would be interesting for people to mention what their principal advertisers were when mentioning how much they were adjusted down. I can't help but feel some kind of pattern will emerge.
Essex_boy: I'm only running chitika on three small websites that, for various reasons, I don't want to put Adsense on. I've applied to YPN to replace chitika on 2 of those sites, but haven't been accepted yet. The smallest of the 3 sites is almost a perfect match for chitika -- and even that one barely beats adsense after chitika's monthly trimming.
I started running Chitika on the small sites as an experiment to see if I could make more than Adsense on my big site. At this point, I'd have to say 'no chance in hell'.
