Chitika ad placement

What works, what doesn't?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to some of the preferred places to insert Chitika ads on a page? Is, for example, placing one ad better than using two or three together?

I would also like to hear suggestions about running google and chitika ads on the same page, and if there is a winning combination. Since implementing Chitika, my AdSense earnings have dropped about 40% and the unaudited Chitika ads are not yet making up for the slack.

I like using Chitika ads for many reasons but, as far as my site is concerned, there is much room for improvement. My guess is that I'm not the only one. Thanks.

No one responds? Did I ask a stupid question, or what?

I mentioned in an earlier thread that I use a blog sized box in the footer of each review and a 160x600 in place of the left nav.

A few of my pages lead with the product in a 250x250 but I don't think that has gotten any clicks in week or two so I will be switching that to a footer and left nav.

I find the bigger the box for Chitika the better.

The blog box shows the product and the vert banner rotates the accessories.

Thanks. I'm continuing to experiment.

I've put some google Link unit ads above Chitika sky ads and both are doing better. Removed a number of Chitika ads from my site the past few day and put back Google ads. Now I'm back to making the per day income I expected this time of year.

My personal observation, overdo Chitika, and AdSense revenue will tumble. It's a matter of finding the right balance between the two.
