can you also please clarify this:
Are CPM programs similar to adsense in a way where because you are affiliated with one you are not allowed to put up another banner from another CPM program on each page? or site?
My site is quite new, with not alot of visitors, so i want to start with CPM's first.

1. There are no CPM affiliate programs. Affiliate programs by their very nature pay out as the result of a specific action such as a click, a lead (signing up for something), or an actual purchase. What you are looking for is an advertising network.
2. CPM is better for busy sites. A new site with little traffic would probably benefit more from targeted affiliate programs, or else AdSense. Among other things, watching the affiliate stats will teach you about your visitors' buying patterns and will help you evolve your site in a positive direction.
