Whatever keywords I enter, I see at test a pink iPod.

Has anybody seen something different?

At last, it can not be worse than Amazon.com as PSA replacement.

less than $0 for a half year is impossible.

You have to type in keywords to get better targeted ads. It's a pain in the rear, but it eliminates the "contextual" part that conflicts with AdSense and YPN - allowing them to be ran in conjunction.

I suggest checking out Chitika's blog for more information on doing this.

In their code you can add:
ch_query="keyword";

change keyword to your keyword and it will work.

I use them as a PSA replacement as well, but can't use a dynamic keyword insertion because of parsing order.

I have put about 10-15 keywords in and it works great, except i get the occasional advert for Pacman and Candlesticks

Gernwax, you probably need to be more specific in your keywords then.

Unlike Adsense with Chitika you can set a range of keywords. You can have Chitika rotate them and you can even have them change automatically every day of the week.

Granted it takes more time than setting Adsense code but pages that were earning me $0.05 per click are now getting me $0.70 per click. If you use their tip to search shopping.com you'll find lots of related articles that you could use your judgement on to see if they'll be of interest to your visitors.
