I'm new to the internet biz...and I'd really like to get hip on how these sites that sell nothing or just offer free stuff in exchange for customer info make money. I know this is a loaded question but if I just gave away a free product but required people who got my new product to give me their personal information...do I make money by selling their personal info....or do I make money by putting ads to sponsors of the free product on the free product...or both...I'm wondering how these people are making money. Thanks for any info at all...like I said, I know it's a loaded question...
