Tracking Exit Link Clicks

How do you track which links they click on when they leave?

I suppose I'm going to slap my forehead when someone answers this question, but here goes:

Say I have a page of links to many other related websites. How do I track which outbound links get clicked and how often?

Is there a simple solution to this? A simple graphic? Javascript?

There are many free URL tracking scripts available. The one I use is the free AXS by Fluid Dynamics.
