Don't think you can post your url here...but anyways...

Of course you CAN make money...but will you?

You need targetted traffic and you need a site that people can trust so they will convert as customers.

Read the forums...Especially the rules. You will learn a lot, making threads like this one, unnecessary.

please read [webmasterworld.com...] - Terms of Service points 13 and 21.

hobbnet hit the nail on the head - "you can, but will you"

The only way to find out is sign up and get some links going.

As for which programmes, some work better for some sites, and some better for others. Trial and error to a large degree.

(edit - screwed up the link)

Baron, don't take it personal when the moderators snip your URL from your post. It's against the rules to post your URL in this forum.

It's OK to have your URL in your profile.

From all the "-"'s in your URL, I would think you are an experienced spammer, except that experienced spammers wouldn't be wasting their time dropping URL's in forums, so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by trying to help.

I took a peek at your site and I think you might want to start with art posters. You probably won't get rich, but you can learn the ropes there. You can place related poster thumbnail affiliate links to a merchant like AllPosters.com (the have their own affiliate program) around your site, and if you have decent traffic should at least make some pocket change. Once you learn the ropes you can consider creating a separate "art gallery" and fianlly start moving on to non-art items once your really get a handle on things.

You might also try collectable model cars, but I can't tell you who to use. The three main networks, Commission Junction, BeFree and Linkshare would be good places to begin looking. You might even try DVD's but that's highly competitive and might wind up being too frustrating starting out.

Some people do ok with Amazon offering books related to their site's subject area, but from my limited experience with books I think they are a hard sell.

Hang around at WebmasterWorld for a while, Baron, and you won't be a starter for long :)

Don't be afraid to ask questions and learn, and when you get good at affiliate marketing help the next person.

Welcome!
