Just got in at the Novatel have decided to prise myself away from sunny Cornwall and travel up tonight on the sleeper from Penzance. They seem to have rooms available still at Laterooms.com

It's actually my local pub - I'm 2 minutes from there, so could show up at short notice. Would love to go, just can't commit due to other pressures tomorrow.

Hmmm... I drank too much on Wednesday evening after getting roped in to going down to the pub with the Mirago crowd. Ended up falling asleep on the tube and woke up way out in Zone 5. Stood in the freezing cold waiting for a taxi... a bus... anything for about an hour, because the last train had gone.

Will somebody please remind me not to do the same thing tomorrow, once - or preferably before - my speech starts slurring.

Well I've made it into London - finally.
I did not realise that it was a bank holiday in Ireland and that Heathrow still operated on 286 Amstrads :)

Look forward to meeting everyone and sampling some of the local brew.

Not sure if I can make some time available - I have so much work to do tonight and over the weekend.

As it's my local pub though, I did just pop down and said a quick hello to Brett. Will try and pop along for a few hours later, but will definitely be at the next London one if I can't do.
