Firefox - Shift + double click on text removes the element?

When I hold shift and double click on a text itme in Firefox it disapears. This doesn't seem to happen with anything else. Any reason this is happening? I have tested this with all my extensions turned off and with a clean install using the 1.5 Beta.

The behavior is not new in 1.5 - I've just tried it with 1.07 (Linux) and I get the same thing. Looking at the source code the text is still present. I'm not entirely certain why this feature exists, but I will find it useful on "busy" pages when I just want to read the content!

Lets say I've been wokring on a post for five minutes and accidentally make the text box disapear. How do I unhide it without reloading the page?

I love adblock and all but it can get downright annoying sometimes. :(

Doesn't happen for me. The whole word is selected though.
