Don't ask me why, I must have clicked on the wrong thing.
FF no longer shows the alt="yaddayadda" box/text when I mouse-over images.
I would like to turn that back on but don't know how. Any clues out there? -Larry

Thanks Mattur! That's just the help I needed.

I went ahead and changed a few alt= to title= for my images. This works fine in FF.
Come to think of it, I think the problem started when FF automatically updated to the latest version.

Next question: Will the former alt text, now title=, still work in IE?
I.e. , do I need BOTH? I sure hope not. -Larry

Yes. It will show the content of title exactly as same as alt tag.

do I need BOTH?

As far as Google is concerned i think it gives importance to alt tags for images.
