Subject says it. Since updating to Firefox 1.0, Google keeps thinking I'm Spanish. First it brought up the Google page in Spanish. I set the language in my preferences, but it keeps wanting to serve up results from www.google.es

I deleted all Google cookies, but it still thinks I'm spanish (in fact, I lose my language settings and get the google.es page in spanish).

Any guesses as to why?

BTW, in my quest, I've switched my language settings to give me the Google Interface in Elmer Fudd - "I'm feewing wucky!"

Okay, I found this out. It's only when I use the Google Toolbar and it's a known problem.

[googlebar.mozdev.org...]

However, the known solutions don't seem to help :-(

Go to about:config and check your intl_accept_languages string. What does it say?

I got it. I was resetting the language settings for Google, but the toolbar itself has it's own "Google Site Options" in the toolbar preferences that keep overriding the Google options.

Now I have it set and everything is good.
