Does IE have something like Firefox's about:config ?

I've been messing about with the stuff found there for a while in Firefox, and I was wondering, does IE have an equivelant. Many of the settings in about:config don't seem to be in IE's options dialogs, and as I use both browsers often, I'd like to have the same types of settings on each.

I don't know of anything as direct as about:config for FireFox. There are ways to manage network machines running IE that ensure they will all have the same confiuration, but I don't know enough about this to say if the method can be easily applied to an individual computer.

Maybe there is someone who runs an IE intranet reading who can tell us more?

All IE configs are stored in registry.
