Earnings Drop by 75% Overnight

This Never Happened with AdSense

Was doing great guns with YPN, outperforming AdSense by 3 to 1 ratio, so I switched my main site over to YPN and enjoyed a huge boost in revenue for about a week.

Then, overnight, the bottom fell out and so I am switching back to AdSense. I have no idea what happened. I asked YPN and was assured that there is nothing similar to Google's smart pricing; he had no clue except that the advertisers had changed. So what seemed quite promising is now a bust. Too bad. I was really liking YPN.

Yeah, YPN went dead for me the past two days, which is REALLY weird since Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday are my best days. I think it might have something to do with advertiser dollars running out towards the end of the month. Probably the best thing to do would be to switch to adsense until June 1st, then try YPN out again for a few days to see if things picked up.

I say this as an experienced YPN publisher. I have seen the earnings drop a few times around the 23/24 only to pick up again the next month. Hopefully that happens again.

I went through the same situation. When this happen I notice a lot of ads that I didnt have before it stay like that for about two weeks and I was making about 80% less of what I use to make. but then I started getting the old ads or ads similar to what i use to have and I went back to my usual earnings. So I would put the ads back wait it out if you can or maybe the people on yahoo can help you out.

I've had it happen in both Adsense and YPN, and multiple times each. You just haven't been around long enough.

I am fairly new to YPN but have been using AdSense since it started. I'll keep YPN on a few page to see if it comes back.
