What are you seeing different?

First and foremost, let's keep this thread clean. No name calling, cursing, or yelling at YPN reps. This is better for all of us if we can have a calm and cool conversation about what we are really seeing going on.

Not only should people who are seeing decreased CPM post, but please post if you are also making more in CPM as well.

Since I started the thread, I'll start off:

1) CPM has been around 1/4th of what it normally is for Site A, while Site B dropped CPM by about 1/2. The ad categories are closely related, but not the same.

2) On Monday, Site B showed major improvement in CPM. Earnings were about 110% of normal earnings for Site B.

3) On Monday, Site A showed no increase in CPM. It still made around 1/4 of usual earnings.

CPM is 1/50th what it normally is.

As an example, say I hypothetically earned $100 an hour before, I'm now earning $2 an hour.

Okay, well. Can anyone be more precise. Have the ads changed at all?

Are you running YPN on more than one site, and if so did both of the CPMs drop?

Also, when did the CPM begin to drop? Mine started last Tuesday and fell 20 cents, then 40 cents then kept going down one or two cents a day to where it was on Saturday, then went up a few cents on Sunday.

Well, I don't have any numbers for the last 2 days since I've gone back to adsense. Prior to that and over a three day period CPM fell appx. 200% and CTR was cut in half. Earnings hit lows I've truly never seen before. I mean really bottomed out. I'd be embarrased to even admit the totals. I had no intention of sticking around to see how low they'd actually go.

I suspect I'll be back. This appears to be primarily a targetting issue with me. I'm making basically the same amount per click, however no one's clicking. Or something. I don't know. I was seeing the same ads as before but YPN claims they aren't being clicked.

I have no problem calling this a failed experiment and moving on if in fact it turns out that way. They said Wednesday at the latest so I'll do some tests Thursday morning to see how I stand and make a decision then.
